What is Burlesque?
Burlesque is a live and interactive performance not only presented in traditional theatres, but in unconventional venues such as restaurants, bars, halls and banquets. Hallmarks of burlesque often include opulent and exaggerated costuming, improvisation, use of props, choreography, comedy, and yes - STRIPTEASE!
Burlesque is also an art form of subversion and defiance. This shows up in its diversity not only of personal artistry and expression, but gender identify, sexuality, cultural background, body size and more!
Do:

Cheer, scream and clap during a performance

Be ready for performers to "break the fourth wall" and interact directly with an audience

Bring cash in small bills to tip the performers
